Kelly Murphy's painting "Trail of Tears" was chosen by Magnolia Pictures to be featured in their acclaimed documentary film MUSCLE SHOALS, an official selection at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. MUSCLE SHOALS was directed by Greg 'Freddy' Camalier and features Rick Hall, The Swampers, Aretha Franklin, Percy Sledge, Bono, Keith Richards and many more.

The painting appears during a sequence (11:30) in which Tom Hendrix, a descendant of the Yuchi tribe, tells the story of his American Indian great-great-grandmother's deportation from what is now known as Muscle Shoals, in 1839.
